For me the message of this cartoon is male dominance is cultural variable. What's considered oppresion in one culture might not be in another.
Because of political cartoons like these I found Jabbra's analysis of political cartoons counterproductive, reduntant and unhelpful for her thesis. Quite frankly, it annoyed me.
