Reflection
     Too further what others are reflection regarding the lack of Asians/orientals in the media. I also was taken back by not realizing how there is almost no representation of Muslim in the media. The class deClass discussion was very insightful and respectful, although I did find the film we watched to be counter productive to the class session ,since there was almost no mention of woman and there struggle. Struggle against there misunderstood "oppression" from the western perspective and oppression to where is factually exists. 
I walked away from class wishing that we would actually discuss issues in depth  vs just avoiding them.
